You protect your skin form harmful UV rays by using sunscreen, but what about your car? Did you know that UV rays are actually damaging to the paint on your vehicle as well? It's true, UV rays can ruin your paint job but there is a type of "sunscreen" for your vehicle.
Wax will provide the paint on your ride a nice, protective barrier against all the elements, including damaging UV rays. Every time that you get your car washed, you should make sure that you also get your vehicle waxed-it will go a long way to protecting your vehicle from dirt and other debris. Don't skip it.
A good rule of thumb is to get your vehicle washed every two weeks or so. Do it more often if your vehicle gets dirty sooner than that or less often if your ride has been parked in the garage a lot.
