The 2017 North American International Auto Show is going on now in Detroit, and several awards have already been given out. Yesterday, Nissan announced our favorite award so far, with the 2017 Nissan TITAN earning recognition as TRUCK TREND’s 2017 Pickup Truck of the Year.

According to a recent press release from Nissan North America, the 2016 Nissan Maxima ranked number one in the Large Car category for the J.D. Power 2016 U.S. Tech Experience Index (TXI) Study. Now in its inaugural year, the study measures the driver-centric vehicle technology experience of new-car owners over a 90-day period. J.D. With pickup sales climbingr, there were a lot of contenders for MotorWeek's coveted 2016 Drivers’ Choice Awards, but the TITAN XD, which took home the crown for the Best Pickup Truck segment, had no trouble cleaning up. While it’s not a heavy duty pickup, it’s definitely a light duty plus,and it's carving out a place for itself at the top. They say the top gets lonely, but we’ve got company in the Maxima.
