Being a car owner can be a struggle sometimes—from finding a decent parking spot to dealing with a super-hot car in the Mesa summertime heat. We have gathered a few of our favorite car hacks to help you become the ultimate car owner. Which one will you start to use?

1. Can’t find your car? Hold your remote under your chin! Yes — really!
It sounds crazy but it actually works! The fluids in your head act as a conductor, turning your head into a miniature antenna. This can increase the range of your car remote by 10 to 15 feet! So, the next time you’re sure that you parked somewhere around “there”, try this simple hack to save you time searching!
2. Keep your pizza warm with your vehicle’s seat warmers!
We all have those days when we have had a long day at work, and don’t feel like cooking. On the way home, you pick up a pizza but it’s barely warm by the time you get home in that air-conditioned car. Don’t worry, we have a solution for that — turn on your seat warmers to keep that pizza nice and toasty! This is definitely an ultimate life hack.
3. Cool down your hot car super-fast!
We’ve all had that experience in the summer of unlocking your car and being welcomed by nothing but a blast of hot, uncomfortable air. Even worse, you have to sit in it until your air-conditioner kicks in and risk burning your legs on a hot seat! Once again, we have a clever solution—roll down the windows on one side of your car, then walk around to the other side to open and close the doors a few times. This forces all of that awful warm air out of the car and replaces it with nice fresh outdoor air!

4. Car stuck in the mud? Use your floor mat!
Whether you’re off-roading or just driving on a rain-drenched road, mud happens. Before calling someone to tow you out, try using your floor mat for traction. Simply place it under the wheel and hit the gas! Side note — make sure you wash off that floor mat when you get home to prevent wear and tear.
5. Say goodbye to 1,000°F steering wheels in the summer
Anytime you park outside in the summer, it’s inevitable that your steering wheel will turn into a human-hand-cooker. Avoid this the next time you park outside with this little hack: after you park your vehicle, turn your wheel 180 degrees. This way the top won’t be in direct sun and will be cooler when you come back!
