Mesa Food Truck Fridays
What’s that glorious smell? OH — it’s finally season three of Mesa Food Truck Fridays! Starting on Friday, September 1 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., come enjoy some of the best food trucks in the valley and join in on the picnic party. There will also be live music to keep the party going! Craving a gooey grilled cheese? Your kids are going to be stoked to find out that their local favorite, the Gorilla Cheese Truck, will be there! Movie Night in the Park: The Living Desert
What’s better than enjoying a beautiful hike in Usery Mountain Regional Park? Movie night, of course! On Friday, September 1st at 7 p.m. bring your family to see the best film ever made about the desert animals in Usery. All ages will love this movie and enjoy learning all about the Nature Center. They are guaranteeing entertainment and laughter. Do you like snakes? You’ll be able to watch them feed their snakes after the movie! Labor Day Celebration at Queen Creek Olive Mill
Looking for a free family activity this Labor Day? Go to the Labor Day Celebration at Queen Creek Olive Mill. Spend the afternoon enjoying grilled food, a bottle of wine, live music, games, tour, and more — there is something for everyone to enjoy! Don’t want to leave your pets at home? Full Moon Hike at Usery Mountain
Usery Mountain has a lot of great family-friendly events during the month of September. Don’t miss out on their full moon hike on September 7. The hike starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Trailhead Staging Area and only costs $6.00 for the park entry fee. This hike is an easy 2-mile hike under the glowing light of the full moon with their park ranger, Ranger B. They ask for you to bring a flashlight, water, closed-toe shoes and a sense of adventure.
