Currently in its seventh-generation, the Nissan Sentra has served consumers well by being an affordable, yet well-stocked, option among the sedan segment. Boasting a lower base price than vehicles such as the Hyundai Elantra, Honda Civic, and the Toyota Corolla, the 2016 Nissan Sentra offers better performance, more interior space and more features than many of its competitors. That doesn't mean that big things shouldn't be expected when it comes to upcoming model years though. Take a look:

While the 2016 Nissan Sentra doesn't offer a choice of engines, upcoming model years are now expected to give customers a handful of engines to choose from. While we have yet to learn what customers should expect when it comes to the expanded lineup, we can't wait to learn more.
What else can we expect? According to Nissan, there may be a hatchback version of the four-door Sentra in the near future. Once offered some time ago, this body style hasn't been available since 1990. A final decision on the addition of a hatch style Sentra has yet to be made but our team will be sure to keep you in the loop!
