2018 Nissan Versa-Note Tires in Mesa, AZ

Many owners have tire rotation performed alongside an oil change or at each service visit. The vehicle's maintenance schedule settles the interval, while driving conditions and tire wear can make an inspection useful sooner. A service visit can compare all four tires before rotation.

• Measure tread depth on all four tires.
• Check for uneven wear across the set.
• Rotate tires using the applicable manufacturer-specified pattern.

The inspection covers all four tires and helps identify wear that may affect handling or ride quality. Rotation follows the pattern specified for the vehicle and the tires fitted. The service may lead to a rotation or a replacement recommendation based on what the inspection finds.

• Tread depth measurement on all four tires.
• Rotation in the manufacturer-specified pattern.
• Pressure setting and monitoring-system reset.

The correct pattern should be confirmed during inspection rather than assumed. Front-wheel-drive, rear-wheel-drive, and all-wheel-drive vehicles distribute steering, driving force, and load differently. Directional tread and staggered fitments can limit which positions a tire may move to, so the tires actually fitted determine the final procedure.

• Confirm the drivetrain before choosing a pattern.
• Check whether the tread direction limits tire movement.
• Verify whether the fitment is staggered.

Two-wheel-drive vehicles may sometimes have different replacement needs between axles, while an all-wheel-drive vehicle requires close tread depth across all four tires because mismatched tires can load the driveline. An inspection compares the set and considers the tires actually fitted. The replacement recommendation should be based on those findings and the vehicle's service history.

• Compare tread depth across all four tires.
• Inspect for uneven wear or visible damage.
• Consider drivetrain requirements before replacing fewer than four.

Uneven tread wear and vibration at highway speed are also reasons to arrange an inspection. Tread depth measurement on all four tires shows whether wear is consistent across the set. A technician can recommend rotation or replacement based on the condition of the tires actually fitted.

• Look for a tread-depth indicator level with the tread.
• Use a penny test as a basic check.
• Schedule an inspection for uneven wear or highway-speed vibration.

The appointment includes tread-depth measurement on all four tires and a rotation or replacement recommendation based on the inspection. The dealership is located at 2025 W Riverview Auto Dr, Mesa, AZ 85201. Online scheduling lets you request service before visiting the Mesa location.
